The former Furever Home animal shelter in Titusville, closed earlier this year due to disrepair, could be reopened under new management. Two nonprofits, Brevard Barkhouse and Relic K9 Rescue, have expressed interest in taking over the building, which is owned by the county. However, the facility requires significant renovations. The Brevard County Commission is expected to decide the shelter’s future in April.
