Blue Origin is asking Florida’s Department of Environmental Protection for permission to discharge millions of gallons of processed and non-processed rocket wastewater into a stormwater pond that flows into the Indian River. Brevard County commissioners are reviewing the proposal and may request a public meeting. The company says the request renews a permit that has been in place for over five years and assures operations will comply with state regulations.
