A Vero Beach man faces felony charges after being caught on video kicking a small dog. The incident, which took place back in February and was caught on video, shows 38 year old Cody Scott Worley-Oaks kicking a senior Maltese mix named Romeo, sending the dog tumbling across the pavement. The attack left the dog distressed and the young girl who witnessed the incident in tears. Worley-Oaks was arrested following an investigation into the whole thing. He now faces charges including aggravated animal cruelty, which is punishable by up to five years in prison. Right now, he is already behind bars in the Indian River County Jail.
