Some Brevard County residents spoke out Tuesday against a permit allowing Blue Origin to release wastewater into the Indian River Lagoon. The proposed permit would discharge nearly half a million gallons per day, with some treated but much untreated. The county commission does not have final approval; the Florida Department of Environmental Protection will decide. Residents can submit comments to the state through December 18.
