A Barefoot Bay woman was arrested at the Sebastian Walmart for shoplifting and child neglect. Police discovered two children left unattended in 65-year-old Katherine Leone Gordon’s hot vehicle as she tampered with barcode tags to lower the price of items in the store. Gordon now faces charges of child neglect and theft. She was taken to the Indian River County Jail, where she was held on a $3,000 bond.
