Brevard Sheriff’s Office Destroys Illegal Gambling Machines After Countywide Crackdown

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Florida Gaming Control Commission, destroyed dozens of illegal gambling machines following an 18-month investigation. The operation, involving 17 search warrants and multiple arrests, targeted venues that generated over $1 million in illicit profits. Sheriff Wayne Ivey says the crackdown will continue to protect local communities from unregulated gaming.
