Melbourne Woman Jailed For Threatening Teens, Telling Them She Was Going To “Blow Their Heads Off”

A Melbourne woman has been arrested for holding two teenagers at gunpoint while they were fishing near her property. 59-year-old Donna Elkins, armed with a pellet gun, threatened the teens, ages 13 and 15, telling them she would “blow their heads off.” The pond they were fishing in however, was actually about 30 feet from her property line. Elkins faces charges now, including aggravated assault and false imprisonment. She is in the Brevard County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
