A Brevard County man has been sentenced to life in prison for the 2020 murder of Joshua Elzas inside an abandoned Eau Gallie home. Prosecutors say 30 year old Christopher Kane attacked Elzas with a crowbar before fatally shooting him. The house, known as a “zombie house,” had a history of drug activity and fatal overdoses. Kane was convicted last month.
