A Michigan woman was arrested in Volusia County after being accused of scamming a local resident out of $52,000 through a fake Facebook Marketplace sale of an excavator. 59 year old Demetria Latimer was tracked down outside Detroit and is now facing charges of grand theft and fraud. The victim’s money was recovered. Latimer is now behind bars with a $25,000 bond.
