While the rest of the country is facing a tax deadline today, Floridians now have until May 1 to file federal taxes, after the IRS extended the deadline due to damage from Hurricanes Milton and Helene. The extension covers individuals and businesses statewide. Today’s regular deadline still applies in other states.
