A Brevard County deputy shot and killed a knife-wielding man early Tuesday in Palm Shores. Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance around 3:30 a.m. on Palm Circle, where a caller reported a violent man inside the home. When deputies arrived, the suspect appeared at the door with a knife and advanced toward one deputy, who opened fire. The man later died at a hospital. The deputy is on paid leave during the investigation, which will be reviewed by the State Attorney’s Office. Names have not yet been released.
