Interactions between coyotes and humans are on the increase here in Florida, and now one city near Jacksonville… Atlantic Beach… is investigating several coyote attacks that occurred so far this week. On Tuesday, a coyote bit one person, and on Wednesday, another attack was reported. A dog was injured when it helped fend off a third attack Wednesday morning. While unprovoked coyote attacks are rare, state officials are watching these reports seriously.
