51 year old Thomas Lee Gudinas was executed Tuesday evening at Florida State Prison for the 1994 rape and murder of Michelle McGrath. Gudinas was pronounced dead at 6:13 p.m. after lethal injection. He was the seventh person put to death in Florida this year. Appeals citing mental illness were denied by state and federal courts.
