A 55-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle’s side mirror while walking in a Cocoa neighborhood early Saturday. Surveillance video shows the woman hit by a light-colored 2004-2008 Honda Accord, possibly gold or silver, near Arabella Lane and Barclay Drive just before 7 a.m. The driver fled the scene without checking on her. The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Florida Highway Patrol says the vehicle likely has damage to the front right bumper and passenger side mirror. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
