Former Brightline Conductor Sues Train Company Over PTSD From Deadly Crashes

50 year old Darren Brown, a former Brightline Conductor, has filed a federal lawsuit against Brightline, claiming he developed PTSD after being involved in six fatal train collisions and four other traumatic incidents. Brown alleges the company failed to provide trauma leave and forced him to remain on call, worsening his mental health. He is seeking $60 million in damages and says the repeated exposure to deadly crashes ended his career in the rail industry. Brightline has not yet responded to the lawsuit.
