Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey will lead a groundbreaking ceremony Nov. 14 for a new Regional Law Enforcement Training Center in Viera. The facility will house the West Precinct, the Law Enforcement and Corrections Academies, and recruitment and training operations. Officials say the center will serve as a regional hub for advanced law enforcement training, promoting collaboration across agencies and providing state-of-the-art resources for deputies and officers.
