Brevard County deputies, along with the Florida Highway Patrol, handed out 112 traffic citations Tuesday on I-95 as part of a crackdown on unsafe driving. Sheriff Wayne Ivey says that the tickets serve as a reminder to drive responsibly, saying drivers who “messed around and found out” learned the hard way. The enhanced enforcement effort is continuing until further notice.
