40 year old Brandie Covington of Brevard County, was arrested after allegedly threatening to bomb and burn down Rockledge High School during a heated phone call with school staff. The threats came after her daughter’s boyfriend had his school lunch taken due to an unpaid account. Covington was charged with threatening to discharge a destructive device, then placed behind bars before being released on $75,000 bond. Authorities have now confirmed there was no active threat to the school.
