After a very chilly start to the new year, Central Florida is set for near-record temperatures as highs climb into the mid-80s Friday and Saturday. Rain chances remain low, with drought conditions affecting much of the region. A cold front is expected Sunday into Monday, bringing cooler air and morning lows in the 40s, with slightly below-average highs continuing through the middle of next week.
