The City of Cocoa received a grant of almost $1.5 Million from the Florida Inland Navigation District to fund Phase II of the Cocoa Waterfront Park Dock & Breakwater Project. The funds will replace day slips destroyed by Hurricane Nicole in 2022 and add riprap and a rock barrier to protect the shoreline from future storms. Construction timelines will be announced.
