Cocoa police arrested 29 year old Corwin “Sky” Mitchell after a traffic stop on Sunday. Officers noticed a marijuana odor, prompting a K-9 sniff. The dog alerted to fentanyl hidden under a child’s car seat. Mitchell, a 13-time convicted felon already facing armed robbery and grand theft charges, now faces fentanyl possession with intent to distribute, paraphernalia possession, and child abuse charges. He’s now behind bars in the Brevard County Jail on $26,500 bond.
