A Rockledge school crossing guard is in critical condition after being struck by a car while directing traffic near Golfview Elementary School on South Fiske Boulevard. Police say the crash happened around 7:30 Thursday morning. No students were hurt. The guard was taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne. The driver stayed at the scene, and the investigation continues.
