A Volusia County man was arrested in Daytona Beach for a multi-property mortgage fraud scheme. Deputies say 57 year old Christopher Musick created fake ownership documents, took out loans, pocketed the money, and failed to repay. Musick, who had a doormat reading “Come back with a warrant,” was taken into custody when officers did just that, and now he faces charges including organized scheme to defraud, grand theft over $100,000, and forgery. He’s behind bars with bond set at $225,000.
