A great blue heron was rescued after becoming entangled in fishing line and hanging from a tree in Brevard County. The bird was spotted struggling by a passerby near Murrell Road and Viera Boulevard. That person called the Florida Wildlife Hospital. Veterinarians report the heron has only minor injuries and is expected to recover fully before being released back into the wild.
