A 3-year-old boy was accidentally shot Monday in Mims and is now in stable condition at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a home after a firearm discharged while a teenager attempted to move it. The child was initially treated at the scene before being airlifted to Orlando. Authorities continue to investigate, and no arrests have been made.
