A 20 acre brush fire in Mims forced some residents from their homes Thursday afternoon. Deputies with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office went door to door near Blounts Ridge Road as flames spread through heavy dry brush west of Interstate 95. Brevard County Fire Rescue says at least two outside structures were damaged.
