Nhc Tracking Two Atlantic Systems Behind Hurricane Erin

The National Hurricane Center is monitoring two areas in the eastern Atlantic for potential development behind Hurricane Erin. One tropical wave near the Leeward Islands has a 60% chance of forming a tropical depression by the weekend, while another wave south of Cabo Verde has a 40% chance of development. Neither of them is expected to impact Florida. Erin itself meanwhile, continues generating dangerous surf and rip currents along the entire eastern seaboard.
