Osceola County has, for now anyway, halted issuing tickets from its school-zone speed cameras after questions arose about whether some devices were installed outside legally defined zones. The county has 32 cameras, and deputies will continue monitoring school areas in person. The program will remain paused while officials review placements and ensure compliance with state law.
