We went for a couple of weeks with virtually no rain. Many of us were asking for rain. Now, we are learning that sometimes you really do get what you ask for. Coastal flood advisories are in effect as soaking rain dumps down again today here in Central Florida. Brisk east-southeasterly winds reaching sustained speeds of 15-25 mph and gusting at times to more than 30 miles per hour are expected to last through Friday. Southern Brevard County is right in the bullseye of the storm system. The upcoming weekend though, looks great.
