Police began searching for a 20 year old male prisoner who escaped custody near Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital Wednesday evening. Officers say two police officers were battered before the escape, prompting a lockdown at the hospital and a large police response. Multiple agencies were reportedly assisting in the search, and people were being asked to avoid the area.
