66 year old Bryan Jennings is scheduled to be executed November 13 for the 1979 rape and murder of 6-year-old Rebecca Kunash in Merritt Island. The state asked the Florida Supreme Court Sunday to reject arguments from Jennings’ lawyers seeking a new clemency review and claiming due-process violations. If carried out, Jennings would be the 16th inmate executed in Florida this year.
