Suspect In Two South Florida Homicides Arrested After Cocoa Shooting

A 35 year old Fort Lauderdale man is jailed in Brevard County after police say he shot a man in Cocoa and is now linked to two separate homicide investigations in South Florida. Dennard Isaiah Barnes was charged with attempted murder after investigators say he used a rifle to shoot a 24 year old man during an argument at a home. He was denied bond and remains held at the Brevard County Jail. Police in Miami Gardens want to question Barnes in connection with two earlier killings.
