16 year old Jairus Eroge Jones has now been identified as the teenb who was shot and killed during a shoplifting confrontation Thursday evening at a Walmart in Poinciana, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say an off-duty deputy working security was alerted to three suspects concealing merchandise, and one was armed while fleeing the store. The deputy fired, striking the suspect, who was later pronounced dead. Two other suspects, one a juvenile and one an adult in his 20s, have been identified and accounted for, with no charges announced so far. The shooting remains under investigation.
