Three Rockledge day care employees are facing aggravated child abuse and witness tampering charges after police say video shows young children being hit and evidence concealed. Rockledge Police say the incidents occurred at Gingerbread Manor Child Care between December and mid-January. Investigators allege children were struck with hands and a wooden spoon, and that staff tried to disable cameras and prevent interviews. The case began after a tip to the Florida Department of Children and Families. Police say most victims were between 1 and 4 years old, and the investigation remains active.
