Tropical Storm Humberto formed Wednesday evening and is forecast to strengthen into a hurricane by this weekend. The National Hurricane Center says the storm is located about 470 miles northeast of the northern Leeward Islands and is moving northwest at 6 mph. Forecasters say Humberto is expected to stay well away from Florida, however Humberto could interact with another tropical wave, Invest 94-L potentially altering its path, and affecting the Carolinas.
