A driver lost control of a pickup truck around 9:40 p.m. Friday on Fargo Drive in Melbourne, skidding across a yard and smashing through a house. The driver was taken to Holmes Regional Hospital with serious injuries. Homeowners evacuated over safety concerns, and a crane was used to remove the truck. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
