The United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket successfully launched the ViaSat-3 F2 communications satellite from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 10:04 p.m. Thursday. The Boeing-built satellite will boost Viasat’s global broadband coverage and is expected to operate for 15 years. The launch marked a rare doubleheader day on the Space Coast following a Blue Origin New Glenn lift-off earlier.
