Vulcan Rocket Launches Despite Booster Anomaly

A United Launch Alliance Vulcan rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral early Thursday on a U.S. Space Force mission. Officials say sparks were seen after liftoff when one solid rocket booster showed a performance anomaly, but the mission was not affected. The spacecraft was delivered to geosynchronous orbit, and ULA says a recovery team will collect debris as the issue is investigated.
