A weak tornado briefly touched down Sunday afternoon in Palm Bay, causing minor damage to a home and uprooting a tree. The National Weather Service reports damage included a fence, shed, and part of a homeowner’s roof. They say the tornado was highly localized and likely on the ground for only a short time. No injuries were reported.
