West Melbourne Police Commander Antonio Romano has graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, completing the 296th session of the program. The 11-week course focuses on leadership, communication, and physical fitness. Fewer than one percent of officers nationwide attend the academy. Wests Melbourne officials say Romano’s training will strengthen the department and benefit the community.
