The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man’s body was found along the shoreline of the Indian River Lagoon. Deputies responded Sunday morning near Indian River Drive. Authorities say the death is considered suspicious and may be linked to a recent incident in South Brevard County where a person fled into the water during a police pursuit. Investigators believe weather conditions may have carried the body south before it washed ashore.
