A home in Melbourne Beach went up in flames Monday morning… just one day after Christmas. The fire was first reported yesterday around 4:30am at the house on Magnolia Avenue. There were two people home at the time, and both of them were able to get out safely. According to the Melbourne Beach Volunteer Fire Department, when crews first arrived, they were greeted by flames that had already broken through the roof. After the flames were out, the house was deemed a complete loss. Investigators believe the fire may have started in or near the living room, but they say there are no signs of foul play.
