According to the Space Coast Office of Tourism, March and April will prove to be the Space Coast’s all-time-record busiest spring break months. That prediction is based on tourist-tax revenues from Brevard County’s 5% tax on the rental of hotels, vacation rentals and other short-term accommodations. The Tourism office predicts that March will be the 24th consecutive month of record-high tourist tax revenue. Tourist tax collection for the first four months of the current budget year is up 24% from the same period last year.
