Work on another Brightline rail crossing will require the complete shutdown of a busy throughfare in Melbourne for at least five days next week. Brightline has announced that Eau Gallie Boulevard will be shut down at the rail crossing all next week… Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm so crews can install a second set of tracks and rebuild the crossing with new signage, striping, sidewalks, curbs, drainage improvements and pedestrian gates. Traffic will be detoured. Brightline will also be shutting down the Sarno Road crossing in Melbourne for most of June… from June 2 to 24th, and the Lake Washington Road crossing in Melbourne will be closed from June 3 to June 16th.
