Secret Mission Still Slated For Sunday

SpaceX still plans to launch an experimental spacecraft with a national security payload for the U.S. Space Force this coming weekend. It will be the 7th mission of the super secret X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle, a spacecraft that is often referred to as a “Mini Space Shuttle.” The launch is planned for some time this Sunday from the Kennedy Space Center. The vehicle will be carried into space for the first time by a Falcon Heavy rocket, and SpaceX says the first stages will come back for landings at the cape, meaning some loud sonic booms up and down the Space Coast.
