Nobody Hurt When Dinner Cruise Boat Hits Sailboat

A popular dinner cruise boat collided with a sailboat during a docking attempt in Seminole County. It happened at the downtown Sanford Marina as a paddle-wheeler that offers daily lunch and dinner cruises was blown off course. The Barbara-Lee dinner cruise ship made contact with a sailboat that the owner uses to teach people how to sail, snapping its mast off. Because the sailboat was damaged to the point it can no longer sail, the Coast Guard was brought in to investigate. They determined that because the Barbara-Lee is a paddle-wheeler with no thrusters, there was no way to have avoided it because of the wind. The good thing is… nobody was hurt.
