Manatees Making Comeback Along With Seagrass

On Wednesday, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission released a statement, saying that manatees are beginning to show some signs of improvement in the Indian River Lagoon. Because of that, they are ending the temporary manatee feeding program that has been in effect in Brevard County. The good news comes after more good news… natural seagrass recovering in the Indian River. Seagrass is a manatees’ top food source.
