Deputies with the Polk County Sherriff’s office arrested a woman who was caught on video taking Amazon deliveries from the front porch of a home in Winter Haven just after noon on Monday. Then the deputies learned that a nearby neighbor was also the victim of a similar crime a week earlier, but that one wasn’t caught on video. A crime analyst working with detectives reviewed the surveillance video and identified the woman as 32-year-old Kensley Mott. On Tuesday, detectives found Mott working at a Hungry Howie’s Pizza, and she admitted to both thefts… saying she simply followed the Amazon truck and immediately stole packages as they were delivered. Then she made a startling further admission… she said she was planning to re-gift the stolen items for Christmas.
