A vacant lot in Cocoa Beach that was formerly the site of the old Glass Bank Building may soon be given a breath of new life. A developer wants to build a 6-story hotel there, complete with a restaurant and a launch viewing area on the top floor… along with retail space on the ground floor. The project involving the 2 acre property on State Road A1A in Cocoa Beach would add up to between $20 and $25 Million. If the plans are approved, the developer says they could break ground in 2025 and be open in 2026.
