Another Brightline Fatality In Melbourne

Another incident involving a Brightline resulted in another death in Melbourne on Thursday afternoon. According to Brevard County Fire Rescue and Melbourne Police, a Brightline train struck and killed a pedestrian in the area of East Fee Avenue yesterday at 2:43pm. Police say they got a call about a person lying in the tracks just moments before the Brightline train came along. The victim has been described as a white male, but as for his identity, age, or where he was from… well, they don’t know that yet. So far, investigators believe it was an intentional act. There were some passengers on the train that was headed south to Miami when it happened. Nobody else was hurt.
